This course includes four separate programs providing a total of 5.2 contact hours, including 4.5 ch pharmacology. These courses are also available separately. Please DO NOT register for this course if you have completed any of the course individually:

Safe & Effective Use of Pharmaceutical Samples (1.0 ch/1.0 Rx, Dr. Mary Jo Goolsby); Prescribing in the Context of Dementia (1.25 ch/1.25 Rx, Dr. Carolyn Clevenger); Management of Obese Patients with Metabolic Dysregulation (1.7 ch/1.0 Rx, Dr. Frances Sahebzamani); Osteoporosis (1.25 ch/1.25 Rx, Dr. Anne Moore).

 

Overall objectives for the Pharmacology Package are to be able to: 1) Discuss updates relevant to pharmacological management of select conditions, 2) individualize management of select conditions, and 3) describe  strategies to enhance safe and effective use of pharmacological agents. 

Objectives for individual sessions are described in those sessions. 

This program is designated for 5.2 contact hour of NP CE credit with 4.5 ch pharmacology by the Institute for Nurse Practitioner Excellence, an AANP Approved Provider(130325).  Valid through October 31, 2017.

Course completion involves successful post-test and evaluation completion for each program, with one certificate awarded on package completion.
